Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery Unit (MIGSU)
MIGSU (Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery Unit) is situated in Hameed Latif Hospital, Lahore-Pakistan. It’s the first-of-its-kind unit, exclusively for minimal invasive Gynecological surgeries. The facility has a dedicated state-of-the-art Operation Theater, custom designed for Endoscopic surgery with the latest equipment.
In 1974, Prof. Rashid Latif Khan performed the first-ever diagnostic laparoscopy in Pakistan and has since been at the forefront of teaching and promoting laparoscopy. The formation of MIGSU in 2009 was his brainchild, and he has led the team ever since. The team has evolved over time, with all members receiving training both locally and internationally. To date, we have provided care to nearly three thousand patients.
