Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fiaz is a qualified Interventional Radiologist. His Interventional Vascular Radiology and MSK Interventional Radiology training is from Singapore General Hospital. SGH is a world-renowned top-line smart hospital and getting first award in the world since seven years from 2019 to 2026. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fiaz is member of Board of Trustees, Cancer Care Hospital & Research Centre. He is the chairperson of IRSP in Pakistan in 2026–2027 and he is the founder member of IRSP (Interventional Radiology Society of Pakistan). He is supervisor of FRCR, FCPS, and FCPS and he trained more than 20 students. He is the first one who did cryoablation in Pakistan in private sector. He is first promoter of interventional oncology in Pakistan.
Regarding the Interventional Radiology he is pioneer of wet cool-tip RFA, microwave ablation, and plasma treatment of the spine. He is the first one who introduced thyroid nodule ablation in Pakistan. He is the first one who introduced EVLT of varicose veins in Pakistan. He is the pioneer of microwave ablation of fibroids in Pakistan. He’s participated in more than 70 international conferences. He is renowned faculty member in CIRSE, WIRES—CIRSE (Europe), WIRES (Singapore), CSIR— (China), BSIR—(UK), PAIRS—(Dubai), and KSIR—(KSIR Korea).
