Department of Dietetics and Nutrition
The expertise is not only limited to patient dietary prescription alone but is extended to providing nutrition through alternative routes like Enteral and Parental Nutrition. The Enteral Nutrition covers route like Nasogastric (NG), Orogastric (OG), NasoJejunal (NJ), Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) and Percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy (PEJ) while the parental nutrition is mainly artificial nutrition through Intra Venous (IVs) including Total Parental Nutrition (TPN) and Partial Parental Nutrition (PPN).
Our nutritional and dietary expertise work as a well-coordinated team with the medical consultant to provide optimum nutritional support during their stay at Hameed Latif Hospital along with follow-ups focused on improving the quality of life and health status.
