At Hameed Latif Hospital, I assess, diagnose, and treat women with all types of breast-related concerns — from simple benign breast lumps to complex breast cancers requiring advanced surgical care.
I have over a decade of experience in breast surgery, breast cancer management, and modern oncoplastic techniques. After completing my FCPS in Surgery, I received further international exposure and training through prestigious programs including Johns Hopkins Medical International (USA), Northwestern University (Chicago), and the IVLP Global Health Equity Program (USA).
I currently serve as the Director of the Breast Center at Shalamar Hospital, where I established Punjab’s first hospital-integrated Breast Cancer Survivorship Program, nurse navigator training pathway, breast patient-tracking IT system, and community-centred support spaces such as the Pink Garden. My work focuses on equity-driven, patient-centred breast cancer care, especially for women from low-resource settings.

In Breast Surgery, I have a special interest and extensive experience in:
- Early detection & diagnosis of breast diseases
- Breast lumps, cysts, fibroadenomas & infections
- Breast cancer surgery (all stages)
- Breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy)
- Oncoplastic breast surgery (cancer removal + cosmetic shaping)
- Mastectomy (skin-sparing & nipple-sparing)
- Sentinel lymph node biopsy & axillary management
- High-risk & young breast cancer patients
- Post-treatment survivorship, lymphedema guidance, and long-term follow-up
- Second opinions for difficult or unclear cases
My approach combines evidence-based practice with compassion, ensuring women receive care that respects both their health and their body image. I believe every woman deserves clear information, emotional support, and modern treatment options during her breast health journey.
